George Moore is the Chief Security Officer for all Azure Compute services, including Infrastructure-As-A-Service (IaaS), Platform-As-A-Service (PaaS), Azure Container Service and Service Fabric. This includes final responsibilities for both customer-facing security features (authentication, role-based access control, encryption, isolation, conditional access) and platform-level security controls (compliance, pen testing, red team/blue team, MFA processes, etc). George is also one of the founders of the Azure engineering team in 2006, and designed many of the core infrastructure components of the Azure platform, including the public service management API layers and the first version of the Azure Portal.
